Brand new was described in the advertisement. As well as other Bosch brakes for my other vehicle (the Bosch BP1295 QuietCast), I ordered this one as well. Take a look at the attached pictures to see the difference in packaging. In this BC914 pad, you'll notice too many scratches and it appears to be used, jaded, and dusty. The shoes look like they were bought earlier and then returned to the store after a short In addition to this, the paintwork on the brake pads is peeling. In contrast to the other purchase, the shins in this box are scattered all over, unlike in the sealed container from the other purchase. In addition, the lubricant has not been applied. This is in spite of the fact that the package had an "Amazon Warehouse" seal on it. This is disappointing to me. There will be no one I recommend this to.

Please take note! For the 09 and 10, there are two types of inner and outer pads Different engines are used in the 14 (and perhaps other) F150s. There is a subtle difference to the eye, but the truck does not see it that way. Those on the inner pads have ears, but not those on the outer ones. Two raised bumps are also located on the middle part of the outer pads. Approximately 8k miles ago, I replaced my brake pads. I did not do much research beforehand, not normally the case. The biggest mistake I ever made. It was my fault for putting the pads on the passenger side In 8,000 miles, the pads and rotors were destroyed. As a result, I assume there are also poor reviews on the site. Unfortunately, it has nothing to do with the pads, and everything to do with On the driver's side, the installation was flawless and they have held up well. My rotor was eaten up as well as I chewed through an entire pad in 8,000 miles. Totally my fault, but be aware of it.

The brake pads have been used for 61K miles and yet they were about 50% worn out. These are an excellent set of replacements, and I can't recommend them highly A beautiful set of pads with such a smooth, quiet feel. RockAuto sells them about $10 cheaper than other sites you should buy them there however. The last time I had my brakes done, I was quoted a ridiculous price for new rotors when I only used my previous set for one brake job. After getting a ridiculous quote for the brake job, I decided to do the work myself. The rear axle of both wheels was completed in less than 50 minutes, and I tested drive it as well. All went well. I used their Boasch Quiest Cast Premium ceramic brake pads (also on Amazon) in conjunction with their Bosch Quietcast rotating system. I drove it twice without a break for 15 minutes and it remained quiet after both tests- From one end to the other. It is relatively easy if you have the skills necessary to change your own oil and can work wrenches.

The kit includes everything that you could possibly need to replace a pad These new stainless slides and clips, as well as silicone lubricant. My "go to" brake pads for most applications are Bosch brake pads, after I have installed more than 100 sets of brake pads. Before installing the new clips that are provided, make sure that the area under the stainless clips is wire brushed once the stainless clips have been removed if you live in a salt/rust area. Be sure that the pads slide easily in place so that they do not have to be forced in.
