Although a copper tube made for a fridge is not pure copper and may contaminate water, stick with a copper tube that is made for a fridge instead.
I would like to let you know that this brake line has a diameter of If you're not sure whether this is what you need, you can check your vehicle manual. I appreciate your kind words!
It is a better option than steel type/you should protect it with rubber hoses to avoid early wear (holes) from rubbing against any surface! Having experienced it myself

Nowadays it is said to be However, don't let the looks fool you, this is plain steel junk! I'm glad I never got around to the project I bought this for because I would be pissed off if I went through all the work of cutting and flare and installing everything just to find that it rusts so quickly and easily. Moreover, if it does this on the outside, it will do it on the inside too, you can bet on that! While I understand that we are all looking for ways to cut costs, I wonder if you really care so little about your particular project that you would waste your time wasting this time? That's not what I'll do. This was a lesson to be Putting this roll in the trash is a bad idea. I don't think they should be allowed to sell such items.
I bought this a few months back, and I installed it myself. We won't be buying this product again after 3 months due to rust and corrosion. A line like this is not copper the only good thing about it is that it can bend quite nicely, but it will not last for long.
What's going on here isn't clear to me yet, such as what kind of material it is or if "rust" is a sufficient term. Black pock marks could be seen on the tube as I took a closer look. The risk involved with running it on my flow pumps was too high, so I put it on the priority list Within a week, the black pock marks on the tube turned into whole areas that were black. The black sediment in this product might cause nozzles or pumps to corrode. I recommend a hard pass on this product for brake lines. Those blackened regions of the tube represent leak/burst hazards that are simply not needed and shouldn't exist on a brake system that is so delicate and important.
The product is one of those sneakily advertised products that made its way to Amazon with clever advertising. There is no copper line on this line- Instead, there is steel line From what you read in their advertisement, nickel alloy appears to be a pure metal. You should not purchase this if you think you are buying good quality copper nickel easy to use line. They are not advertising what they are selling.
The parts are of a high standard. With it, I was able to make two lines. The first one is for a Dodge Ram. The second one is Copper nickel line is easy to bend into shape and a thousand times easier to flare than stainless steel line. The line I did on my Dodge was 3/16 Muhize brand about a year ago and no issues. I did 1/4 Muhize brand about six months ago and had no issues.
When compared to standard (rust-prone steel) or stainless steel lines, you will be amazed at the ability to bend this copper based brake line. You can work with it easily, it does not rust, and it is as durable as you need. Remember it is not the same copper line you can buy at Home Depot for your refrigerator's icemaker since it is not as soft. It is a much more durable alloy designed for brake lines, and it is harder to form/bend than pure copper. Nevertheless, it is still very easy to install steel and stainless steel Are you seeing a double It is much easier to make or use a compression fitting until a double flare can be done.
The flared tubes can be easily flared with the lending tool provided by the auto shop Store that sells auto parts. Several good types of end fittings are available here. It was easy to bend into the right shape too, all in all a great product. I used it to replace the brake line from the rear to front of the Chevy Blazer 1998.
There were the right width and thickness of lines, and ends were easy to bend and flare. During the repair of my Yukon XL, I replaced all the brake lines with this kit.
