The product was supposed to come with 2x 1/4" lines and 2x 3/16" lines as well as a set of 1/4" fittings and a set of 3/16" fittings. We did, however, receive two pieces of 1/4" line and two pieces of 3/16" The fittings don't match the line, so I will have to get 1/4" fittings from an auto repair shop if I want to use it. To be sure I wasn't missing something, I even used my vernier calipers to measure the diameter of the lines. There is also a difference in the quality of the fittings. Take a look at my picture to see what I got.
Despite this, it is very easy to bend. A couple of issues need to be addressed

A person that still uses steel ridgid brake lines, or fuel/electra pressure lines, or any other conventional steel line should be examined by a doctor. During the last two years, I have been replacing the rear 3/16 lines on a 2000 Land Cruiser, and both 1/4 and 5/16 fuel pressure and return lines in under 2 hours in under ideal weather conditions, and these lines are by far the finest brake lines I have ever installed. Auto repair shops need this essential product! To date, this company seems to offer the best deal and be the most cost-effective on the market.
This is an excellent value, good looking set. It includes plenty of tubing and an abundance of fittings, all at a great price. I worked in the automotive industry for 25 years and used to stock all the fittings necessary to put brakes on cars and trucks. The odds of finding a parts person today that understands what you need are slim. You'll appreciate this kit if you're an old timer like me.
Copper lines were available for a good price. Originally, tube fittings would not fit, without being honed a little bit, because the tube was thicker than normal tubing. It was not possible to use the fittings that were provided because they were too short to engage fully. I had to bend the tubing a bit easier than with other copper tubing I had used previously. Although it may not have been as good deal as traditional steel lines with fittings, it would still be better than traditional steel if you don't need the fittings.
It is usual for fittings to be Napa's 90 pieces are priced at $190 apiece. You are getting a great deal here! Complete line replacement is what I do most of the time.
The copper should be of good quality Fittings made out of nickel alloy. Refresh the brakelines on a 1995 with this product. One of the best products available of this type.
