This is the front left; if you're going to replace one, do both fronts or both rears at once.

What goes on the left side, and what goes on the right?

I made a comparison between the old and the new. There's no way to go wrong because there's a cutout that only fits one way.

Because I had to remove the wheel hub assemblies due to one of them failing, I also had to remove the dust shields; you must remove the wheel hub assemblies to replace the shields, so don't order them unless you're getting that far into the front end.

To get to it, you'll need to remove the wheel hub, which will take some time, as well as a 36mm axle deep socket, which I had to rent for $20 at Oreilly for an 04 Chevy Trailblazer.

As usual, AC Delco provides excellent customer service. Call them, give them the last eight digits of your VIN, and they'll send you any part for your specific part. br>These are bare steel or metal parts. I used fine sandpaper to rough up the surface, then used pre-paint, primer, and a coat of black paint to keep the rust at bay.
