For a stamped out piece of metal, it's just too much money

It's too expensive for a stamped out piece of metal, and two of them are required. If you own one of these vehicles, you can use the same shield that was used on the 2009-2010 models. The tabs will be bent flat in 2012, which is far less expensive.

It's a good OEM part, but it's way overpriced for what it is

So, I'm not sure what to say. It's original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and fits my Chevy Colorado from 2005. I took away a star because of the outrageous price; it's ridiculous to pay this much for such a simple, low-cost item, but if you need it, there's nothing you can do but pay up.

If your caliper is binding on new rotors, it's likely that the backing plates have rotted away and are no longer functional. These were a perfect fit for my 2007 Isuzu i290 2wd and solved my binding problem.
