Only two of my original six bolts would have been re-used. After removal, the shields were rusted and thinned out, but they were still usable. I primed and triple Rustoleum coated the shield to make it last longer.
This is an aftermarket product that is so close to the original that the difference is barely noticeable. To be clear, this is not an ACDelco product. To extend the life of the shield even further, we recommend spray painting it with a primer and at least two coats of paint, or coating it with a rubber spray. Because of the implication of deception in the description, I've given it three stars. This aftermarket part is adequate for the job given the vehicle's age, the fit is correct, and the price is competitive. 2003 Chevy Express 1500 Cargo Van.
Although the galvanizing appears to be a bit heavier, these dust guards fall apart in about 6 - 8 hours. 7 years.
It's the exact same fit as the original.
When replacing a bearing hub, I recommend purchasing new shields because the process of removing a hub, depending on how many miles it has, can be quite violent. Make sure to paint or coat these to keep them from rusting.
Well, it claims to be a brake dust shield, and by golly, it is!.
