Taking a look at the price. If you want stock or show, then that's what you get. As for the quality, it remains the same. It is stainless that makes all the difference.

55 Chevy with a 9-inch Ford disc brake system needs a cable to connect to the factory cable in the middle of the vehicle. Do you think this will ?

To attach the electric brakes to the back of this '70 AMX, I used Lokar disc brake kits from Ford '98 Mustangs. There are brakes on the existing cable for the AMX. To link the existing cable with the clevis pin, I had to make a coupling block similar to Lokar's union block. It wasn't a difficult task.

Can you tell me how long the cable is?

My belt was rather long, and I think I trimmed it for that 1951 Bel Air Chevy, but I'm not sure? This was a Rat Rod with bucket seats, so I mounted it between the seats as a modern car would. It would be a good idea to contact Lokar any time. The item has been in my possession for perhaps 5 years. There is no longer a car I own.

These cables are great for replacing factory cables when they no longer fit
4/5

I was able to fix my parking break since I moved the rear wheels back a few inches and increased the It was just two things to take care of. In my case, I had to cut the rear drum brake spring to fit, because my rear drum brakes are smaller than those typically used. I had to use clamps to tension the cable and clamp the steel cables in order to set the break. I had to make an adapter to use our factory hand brake and I had to custom build a new adapter to use our factory hand brake. pull the cable several times until it was tight enough for the brakes to work about half way. 1) They seem to be of high In order to connect my factory handle to the hiem joint, I used a threaded rod the clamp block and the hiem joint fit each other To build the link, I had to purchase a high-quality threaded rod. Make sure you put the nuts that lock the rod to the heim joints on the clamp block and have someone build the link if you're not sure of how to weld a safety nut on the end. It seems to me that if you're looking for a good functioning parking brake for a custom vehicle or to replace old lines, simply measure for the size you need and install these, and you should be happy with the result.

The parts are more convenient than putting them together from three or more I did modify the wheel end to fit a Dana 60 HD full floater by cutting the factory style cables and using the springs and clips
4/5

I was just a couple feet short of 5 stars as it did require mounting the handle pretty far back for it not to be short. It may also be a good idea to add some thin (very thin) washers to the fitting on the backing plates if your axle is very heavy. The factory cable openings are large enough that the Lokar parts just barely fit without pulling through. A thin washer on each side of the backing plate will fix the problem. It seems counterintuitive to me how small the fitting is, at least from the outside it seems like it should be much bigger.

For people who want to install a hot rod electric motor, this is an excellent choice Using the brakes. The quality of this product is excellent and it is easy It is well worth the money. Lokar products are among the best quality and prices I've seen to date. Additionally, whoever drafted the products' instructions must be very familiar with how to write instructions that are clear and concise with clear illustrations. A car guy would be the only one capable of creating such.

These brake cables are great for universal brakes. This set was used on a 1967 Camaro LS1 car with the rear brakes swapped out for 67 Camaro I was pleasantly surprised at how good they looked and the quality was better than I.

An excellent universal E-mail client This is the cable that holds the brakes
5/5

On my 1971 Chevy C10 I did a rear disc brake swap and it was a simple solution. The sheets can easily be cut and installed. As I used the factory cables differently than Lokar intended, I was not really able to use the system as it was intended, but it worked really well nonetheless.
