Sadly, you are probably best off keeping the stock cable if you can adjust your rear parking brake at the brake pedal. As a thinner cable, it's a pain to get inserted into the forward connection point, and, unlike the stock cable, it doesn't have a full length protective plastic sheath to shield it from the shiny metal that these cables rub against most of the time.
