Questions & Answers

Is this a driver's or a passenger's seat?

Near the gas pedal on the driver's side. 2014 f150

Is this the driver's side or the passenger's side of the vehicle?

Driver. 2014 F- br>I bought both the passenger and the driver to replace them at the same time because it was cheaper and easier. The driver is in charge of the gas pedal, while the passenger side is a little trickier. YouTube has saved my life on numerous occasions.

I have a 2010 expedition, and the heat is only blowing in the back, with no wind in the front. Is this the solution I've been looking for?

If there is any type of air flow in the front, including ac. If it's just heat you're having trouble with, it could be a heater core. There should be two heater cores in those trucks, one for the front and one for the back. It's possible that more troubleshooting (YouTube) is required. Goodluck!

When the air conditioner is turned on, the driver side receives cold air while the passenger side receives hot air. Is this the right part to replace to fix the problem?

No, for the price and ease of replacing this one (driver side), the passenger side is most likely required. Both of these items would be purchased and replaced by me. YouTube

Check that the actuator motor is the correct one
5/5

Because the numbers on the motor didn't match, it took me a while to figure out if this was the replacement part I needed. Visit fordparts. com to be sure. Enter your VIN on com, then select Climate Control, then A/C Repair Parts. br>br>There are three different actuator motors for my 2012 F150 (YH1881, YH1933, and YH1770). This one (YH1881) takes the place of the one on the driver's side of the vehicle. This is the motor that moves the vents from defrost to center to floor (original part 8L84-1). 19E616). br>Perhaps this will be of assistance to someone else.

Cirque du Soleil has accepted my application, and I should hear from them soon! Product is an exact fit replacement for the failed one I had in my 2012 F150 Platinum Crew Cab, resolving the issue of not being able to change where the air comes out of the dash to feet to feet defrost
5/5

I haven't had it long enough to comment on how long it will last, but it appears to be well-made. Hopefully, it will be better than the OEM. br>br>Installation without removing dash panels is possible, but it necessitated me lying upside down in the driver's seat with my head hanging down into the footwell and my feet up in the air, blood rushing to my head, in order to see and reach the component to swap. It was a straightforward swap. I watched several YouTube videos that demonstrated the who, what, when, and where of the process. Instead of having to pretend to be an acrobat, I wish I could have flipped my truck upside down to complete the swap!.

I have a 2012 Ford F150 XLT with a clicking noise coming from the driver's side floor board and vent doors (floor, dash, and defrost) that wouldn't stay in one position
5/5

Because the air conditioning blows cold air, the problem was with the actuator (on the driver's side). OEM Motorcraft was used to replace the part (see below). It took 20 minutes to complete the installation. I had to position myself between the seats and the dash to remove the two actuator bolts from the passenger side, after removing the gas pedal (3 bolts) and laying it on its side. "How to fix air blowing out of the wrong vent on a Ford - YouTube" was cited as a referenced YouTube video. "Replacing The Actuator" is a phrase that means "replacing the actuator
Note: The part below is for the vent actuator (which adjusts defrost, center, and floor vents), not for the hot/cold issue.

Authentic Part: This small piece of equipment saved me hundreds of dollars
5/5

My F- Every time the air conditioner attempted to adjust itself, it would click, click, click. The cost of removing the dash and diagnosing the problem was $800. I tracked it down to a small part near the top of the gas pedal, and with the help of an online video, I was able to swap it out in 20 minutes without having to remove the dash. I'm not a mechanic, but this was a quick fix that I was glad to replace with a genuine Motorcraft part.

The clicks have been eliminated

I'm a big guy, so it took me over 10 minutes to replace this, but it wasn't difficult; all you need is a 13-millimeter socket to remove the accelerator and an 8-millimeter socket to remove the device's two bolts. I replaced this on a 2014 FX4 f150.

It's perfect, and it's a cinch to fix

'12 F150. Blend door actuator is activated by pressing the button. Pull the three throttle pedal bolts first, then double-check that the blend doors aren't hung up on anything. You can check after removing the actuator/motor screws by twisting each direction with the old actuator. 8L8Z-YH1881=YH1881=YH1881=YH1881=YH1881 19E616- $32 C = 4818587 C = 4818587 C = 4818587 C = 48185.

This component can be found on the console's left side
5/5

After determining the source of the clicking noise from behind the console, I discovered that this is a high-failure part: the plastic gears inside the assembly break the teeth on the gears, resulting in a clicking sound. swapping out this part is somewhat difficult due to the tight space in which it is located. To gain easier access to the part, I recommend removing the accelerator pedal.

Perfect
5/5

Exactly what I needed to get rid of an obnoxious clicking noise coming from beneath the dash near the gas pedal. The 2014 Ford F150 XLT is a pickup truck that is available in a variety of trim levels It took about an hour to complete the installation. I saved almost $500 thanks to this great deal. Thank you for making this available to the public.
