What remains to be seen is how long it will last. Apparently it is a new version of the item, with inboard gears that are stronger, but thin parts for the tracking system. The motor, even though the door was at its end of travel, got stuck and kept trying to move it further. This resulted in the ticking noise.
I replaced this part with one of the two blend doors that were making a clicking noise I do not remember which side this is for but they are two distinctly.
It was relatively easy to install this product. My ratchet was too big, and I didn't have a small enough one. Normally, I would take half an hour to do this, but if I had access to a small ratchet, I could have done it within.
The sound your car makes when you turn the air conditioner on or off is a really loud tapping noise It is set to rotate. The problem has been solved for me now! On one of the gears in my 2012 Ford Fiesta, I found an old part with a broken tooth. The problem was resolved by replacing the worn out part. Thanks. I am very pleased with it. They fit perfectly and appear to be of a higher quality (so far)!.
This is how the clicking behind the glove box is fixed. This is a problem that occurs frequently on the 15th.
During the click, the glovebox was in the way. The steering column should NOT be behind it. That one is available through Amazon as well. You can watch YouTube videos to learn how!.
