There is no way to install this seal on a 2006 Audi A4 Quattro as the oring inserted into the timing cover side of the vacuum pump is not perfectly circular. By purchasing this kit, I wasted two hours of my workday.
The terd only lasted 3 weeks before it crumbled to bits it's amazing how consumers fall for headlines. There is nothing made in Germany, but it's a VW part instead, so buy the original VW parts in the Volkswagen pack.
The one you want is on the other side. I couldn't even get the rings close to fitting they were way too big Taking your money and throwing it out in the street is as good as throwing it away. It would have been better spent on something else. A 2006 GTI mk5 Item 6D145100E.
The savings on a new purchase of a vacuum pump rebuild combined with a spare set of the OEM seals made this a great price.
It is better to rebuild it than to I came out ahead both financially and physically.
It has stopped the oil leak in my brake vacuum pump on my 2006 GTI.
The seal on the pump fit perfectly, but the seal on the pump to the head did not fit as well as it did on I had to go to the dealership to get it. The customer saved money in the end, and the vehicle was fixed as well. I would recommend this to anyone.
Wrong size, oring is too big in diameter, it won't fit.
