How do I put this in my 2010 Chevrolet Impala? Five of them are in my vehicle, according to an article I read. Among the kinds I'm aware of, there are only two. ?

A car's actuators come in a variety of types. A loud clicking noise can be heard under the dash if one of these is causing it. You should be able to hear the glovebox clicking if you drop it (you can watch YouTube for instructions). You can also see and feel the click if you put your hand on it. You know you have made the right decision when you feel that way. You can go from there if the part numbers match. A phone photo of the part number was all I had to get. This part was swapped out for 3 on my 2012 Impala. It's not hard at all to fix.

The 2007 Chevy Impala is equipped with this device. Located on the HVAC panel, this actuator is controlled by the circular knob that changes the direction the heat/a/c is being blown (for example, when you change from defrost to feet or vents). It may be the problem if you turn it and the air still does not move to defrost or your feet once you turn the knob. We found that no matter what knob we turned the air was blowing out of the vents and feet all the time. It's very easy to install once you get the hang of The glove box insert will need to be removed before you can complete this task. it is out of the way, there are two screws and a wiring harness to deal with.
