What can I use this for on my headlights to prevent water and moisture from entering?

Can Butyl rubber sealer still be sticky once it has dried?

I believe so. Neither dries out nor cracks.

It is not available in a groove so I would need to smash it flat, or will it expand? I would be sealing tail lights, and they do not have a groove. ?

The product is just as good as the original. Water will enter your car if you have replaced the bmw window regulator and the original sealant no longer adheres, so you can use this stuff and prevent this. You just have to heat it up to release and fix. The perfect tool for modifying headlights and projectors. A garage must-have.

Despite being a good product, I find the packaging it was packaged in the worst I have ever seen. It gets sticky and hard to pull apart as soon as you take it out of the package! When you take it out of the package, it gets sticky and gets stuck together! It would be really great if the container the product comes in were redesigned! This sealant is excellent for illumination, especially on cars. I used it to seal the LED third brake light on my truck and it worked perfectly. One time I had to take it off to clean it and let the sealant dry so I had to redo it all. A little goes a long way since it is sticky, stretchy, and mouldable. My LED brake lights will be able to use it once I have ordered.
