A fix has been found for the leak! I spent the last few years on a My freedom panes started leaking, but I've finally fixed it
5/5

I used this set in place of the old foam and have not had any water leaks since. My first kit turned out to be the wrong size so I bought another. My freedom panels appeared to not be able to be fixed since the foam pieces weren't included. I figured I would have extras since it was reasonably priced. Here is the video of the installation I made. You can find the video on YouTube by searching "urban master experiment foam seal replacement".

It was a good kit for a good price
5/5

It is a great seal kit. I've been leaking roof water for the past few days because it has been raining all day, every day in the Pacific Northwest. There are a lot of different foam pieces included in the kit. A copy of the instructions is not If you are unsure of where to place the new seals, use your best judgment. If you look at the old seals, the new seals have the same design as the old ones. We haven't experienced any leaks this week despite heavy rain over the last few days.

A set of Freedom Panels for 2013 Jeep Wrangler JK
5/5

Getting the product to you fast. The kit is nice for the price, but you're going to need to install it slowly. In the kit, there may be some seals that you do not need. This kit has solved my issue with water behind the passenger seat on the floor board. I couldn't see how poor my seals were on the Freedom Panels, so I started getting water. The kit also helped to reduce the amount of noise I hear.

The NECESSARY INSTRUCTION DIAGRAM is of questionable quality
3/5

It really doesn't make sense to not include instructions or a link to a web site that shows at least a schematic of where and how to position the It is possible to look at the existing market, but in every case it is not the only way. It took me more than an hour to find a diagram on the manufacturer's website and the entire internet. To some extent, the videos on YouTube were helpful, however my jeep isn't the same as that in the video, and the positions on the video are not very Is there a reason there are so many I love it. Which way are the cylinder-shaped ones supposed to It doesn't help that my Jeep manual isn't helpful There was a certain softness to the foam itself that I didn't like, and I do wonder how long it will retain its shape. To get more of these foam seals, I took one to my local auto parts store to see if they had any more of the same. They weren't able to help me, but did claim that the foam seals I had were not We will see how this turns out with time. The overall feeling I have is one of skepticism and hope. For now, I'll give it three out of five stars.

I think you did well
4/5

My worn-down foam before and the thick foam after installation are shown in the photo gallery below. The shoes are easy to wear. I like that it sticks well and is well packaged. The old foam is pretty easy to follow, and the new foam matches that! There are no instructions, but it is pretty easy to do. four stars because it hasn't rained since I purchased it and I want to be sure that it will work!.

That was perfect
5/5

What a perfect day. It is true that there are no instructions, but all you need to do is match up the shapes of the old sheets. I haven't found any leaks in my Jeep so far.

It is a negative to lack of instructions
3/5

It took a few minutes to complete the installation. That is, I believe so at least! The instructions were very lacking. . . there was no way to figure out what pieces go where. I could only give this 3 stars because there were no instructions at all. Fortunately, I found a YouTube video that includes a portion about the odd shaped foam and another piece that overlaps it, but because he had his hands in the way, I was unable to see how that one works. As much as I could tell, there was no overlap between the two. Furthermore, just as I did, the demonstrator ended up with two extra foam pieces. They go places I don't know. Those of a thin, long shape. A rubber tube and three rubber tubes were included in my kit as well Those attached to the two larger ones have holes through the center, the larger one solid. On the top of the Jeep, I looked everywhere. These are unknown objects, and one does not know where they are supposed Is it true that they work? ? As we can see, we'll have to wait and As long as they do, I will give this a 3 out of 5. It will go from 2 stars to 1 star if they don't.

Just like OEM seals, these went on like they ought to
5/5

It's the same as the original seal. I had old ones that were not leaking, but they were pretty mangled. In the interest of preventative maintenance, I thought I would do some checks. This is not something one should try if they don't have patients. It's easy to get frustrated if you don't have instructions to follow. It is a bit of a chore to peel off the old seals. Ensure that the old and new seals are matched up. We'll take each step one at a time. It is necessary to peel off the old material and stick on the new exactly where it was. The video on YouTube was a lifesaver in this case.
