Purchased these for my Accord 4 door 2012. Our south Florida sun led to the weather strips ripping off and falling apart. Taking out the old ones was messy, and there was black gunk on my fingers, windows, and doors as a result. We recommend disposable latex gloves, as well as mineral spirits to clean up the mess. Likewise, I bought a plastic upholstery tool kit (LIVTEE 5-pc auto trim kit) for prying up the old trim and scraping out the old grease and oil. *This project also calls for 8 mm wrenches (box, open end, and It is easy to install and fits perfectly the replacement trim provided here. It is easy to find many good videos on you tube that can be.
The installation of these was very easy. As good as Honda OEMs, they fit and look exactly like the real thing. During 45 minutes, I removed the old ones and replaced them with the new ones on a 2010 Honda Accord sedan. A socket wrench and an 8 mm socket were needed, as well as a plastic wedge to pry out the old ones, a Phillips head screw driver, cleaner to clean dirt from under the old ones, and pliers to remove the nut on the front of the mirror. I was very pleased with the product and the delivery time.
It's fairly simple to install after you watch a couple of YouTube videos to get an idea of how hard to pull to remove the factory parts. There are five nuts found in the area you have to remove the speaker to get to the side mirror nuts. Two of the nuts are 10mm and don't There are three others that are 8mm and hold on to the side mirrors. You have to be careful not to drop the nut at the front down into the door when you are on and off. For protection should you drop the nut, you should put a rag in the opening. When I removed and reinstalled the nut, I placed an awl in the cent of the nut to position it because my fingers could not reach By using the awl to line up the nut, you only have to get one finger into the hole to turn the nut until it clicks into place.
My door looked terrible and was falling apart. The install went very smoothly and I completed all four doors in less than 45 minutes. There is a Phillips motor, a 5/16 motor, and a trimming It did not come off the door panels, but it did come off the tweeter cover. It is very easy to The colors are beautiful, fit well, and match perfectly! It costs only 1/4 how much OEM does.
By installing it, the wind noise created by worn out rubber was quieted. There are a few tools required for installation. Before starting, watch a YouTube video and make sure you have the right tools on hand. Match up the components, remove them, and replace them!.
Despite a little uncertainty about what I was going to get, I am so satisfied with this product, and it is exactly what I had been looking for. Happy New Year!.
There was no room for the rears! In order to get it fixed right, you must buy OEM at a cost of five to ten times more than normal.
I bought these for my 2011 Honda Accord, and they fit perfectly. What a difference in noise this made, and my vehicle cabin stayed cooler when I used it. Their love makes the world go round.
