Questions & Answers

The item is listed as fitting a 2016 F150, is it true?

The item will not fit, according to Amazon. In addition to the 2016 part numbers, there are others listed.

Would it be possible to replace it via a link?

It's not my first time reading forums. This is, in fact, a very simple process. Taking off the plastic shroud around the steering column and removing the screws underneath will give you access to a clip that holds the bottom and top pieces together. Release that clip, then turn the wheel left to the 9 o'clock position to free the other side. (Top and bottom) The plastic can be separated into two pieces. On top of that, there are two screws that hold the assembly in place. I hope this was accurate, but like I said, it was a fairly simple assignment.

The Ford Escape I drive is a 2012. Do you think this part will ?

Comparing parts numbers with your local shop will help you find the one that fits.

I just wanted to make sure this is the blinkers and wind shield wiper switch, and that it is compatible with 2013 Ford F-150 Approximately 150 people? I want to see what it looks like before ordering ?

As far as I know, it will fit my 2011 Ford F250 and F150 both have the same blinker assembly, I'm pretty sure.

The wipers on my car are no longer constantly running
5/5

A problem with the wiper motor on my 2012 F150 prevented the wipers from turning The switch was ordered because I found that this was a common problem. The part you need is for vehicles without auto sensing wipers, so ensure you order the correct one. This installation took about 20 minutes and was a piece of cake.

The Phantom Wiper is no longer working in the The original switch was used in developing the phantom wiper
5/5

Even with the switch off, the wipers would run at their lowest intermittent setting when the truck was on. I gather that once these symptoms start, they will get worse with time. Despite the fact that the part is under $30 on Amazon, other retailers/dealers sell it for more. For 15 minutes of work you could save yourself $150 in labor. The F150 replacement part was easy to install. Under the steering housing, there are three screws that need to be removed. Once out, take a small screwdriver and gently separate the two (2) halves of the housing (there is an insert lining on both The switch can be seen when you lift the top of the housing. The screws need to be removed, and there are two (2) T10 torx screws. Turn off the switch by pulling directly toward the driver's Make sure the new switch is directly in front of the steering My first step was to screw in the top t10 torx screw, then the bottom, ensuring that the peddle adjustment switch was centered between the switch housing and the bottom t10 torx screw. After that, you just have to snap the steering column housing back together and secure the 3 screws.

A problem that had been causing a headache has been fixed
4/5

My order arrived quickly and I was able to install it easily. To complete the job, it took around 20 minutes. To learn how to put this product together, I recommend watching YouTube videos. The best tip is to start the engine, turn the steering wheel 90° to the right, and then turn off the engine. This will provide you with better access to the two Torx screws that must be removed and then replaced. The steering column housing must be removed using a standard screwdriver and an 11/32 socket, an extender with a socket wrench handle, a T10 Torx driver, and a standard socket wrench to remove. I was surprised at how easy it was.

This is the perfect replacement and it is easy to For my 2013 Ford F250, I have a 2013 Ford Super Duty
5/5

Although I had the wiper switch in the off position, my wipers remained on the lowest setting. It was easy to fix and it only took a few minutes. It is possible to remove the steering wheel by removing three small bolts. It's time to get rid of them. The covers also come apart. You should turn the steering wheel to the left to prevent the covers from falling off. There are 2 T15 star screws holding onto the part, so remove them and pull out the old one and replace it with the new one. The switch is still the same as the factory one.

A direct replacement that is easy to swap
5/5

It's not fair to ask whether the part is value for money because for all I know, this is the only reason it's so cheap because almost every one in the factory has failed or is failing. There are two T-10 screws holding the foot pedal adjustment switch in place. The column is easily taken apart, there are two screws holding the foot pedal adjustment switch in place. That being said, the switch works flawlessly. The arm is slightly shorter but you will barely notice. The installation of this can be found in dozens of videos, so I don't need to explain it. I have two tips to share There is one. The pins on a new switch are on the back and are exposed, so you should be careful and patient when installing it. They are cheap and easy to There are two. Installing the new switch was easier for me since I could pried out the foot pedal button. It is not something that a mechanic should have to do, but someone with some genuine mechanical experience may be able to change it out for them for a six-pack or something similar. Investing $100 in a switch is not worth wasting it on your column and its components, I assure you.

This is a perfect fit for a 2011 Ford VERY EASY to This is a 100% satisfied customer
5/5

This is the same as the factory blinkers (see image) you'll need to use a 7/32 socket (for the clamp around the steering column) and a T10 socket (for the 2 screws holding the blinker switch). It would be pretty simple for me to change my oil and change a tire with a little help. I suggest you watch a couple YouTube videos and get an overall sense of how things work if you are at all able to do so. There is no limit to what you can achieve! A product like this makes it easy to do that.
I spent the longest amount of time trying to find a 7/32 socket at the hardware store that is a mile away from me. many more reviews, and videos on the Internet, so I will only mention a few 1 *br* When you start using the steering wheel, you will realize that turning it 90 degrees to the left or right reveals/makes it easier to access (you will see it when you do)
2. A flathead works better at the tab holding the two together (a lot of prying. Usually you just need to loosen the tab and then the shell will pop open. ) Separating the shell will allow you to achieve much more easy access to the bottom screw. 1. 2. 3. "Foot Pedal Adjustment" button will pop right off, so don't be afraid to do so. The joystick is similar to the old Atari joysticks. Under that button is the real part, the real cover is only a cover. The fourth paragraph. THERE WAS A REASON I WAS WORN OUT. A few reviews warned that you should be careful around the prongs it sticks out from, and the circuit it connects to looks fragile (you should be cautious too). However, I have to be honest here. I was surprised at how easy it was to install the parts. There is only a tiny bit of fear associated with it every time Afterward, you will be able to laugh and say, "Oh, that wasn't bad after all!". The cautiousness of the situation may be why (but the prudent disposition may explain),".

The new replacement is great
5/5

When my 2013 F-150 started acting up, this was just what I needed During the summer, the wiper switch in the 150 began to malfunction. I found that the wipers would actually be on the lowest intermittent setting, occasionally making one more swipe as they were turned off. Sometimes I could turn them on and off repeatedly and they would stop, but you wouldn't know until it was time to turn them on When I was about to leave for a long trip, I didn't want my wipers to malfunction in the dry weather, so I ordered these replacements. I was able to solve my problem immediately since it is a simple plug in replacement. You can watch YouTube videos that show how easily it can be replaced. It's the Ford product originally sold by Ford.

This is what I recommend if you're thinking of buying it
5/5

When you reinstall it, you might find that you have a better connection. Removing the current one and wiping it down with alcohol is suggested. am seriously of the opinion that the pin connector is coated with too much dialectic grease when the whipers do not turn out. There is a really simple fix for this. Nevertheless, I bought this to replace the exact one I had on my 2013 F150.
