The Malibu max I have is a 2007 model, so it should. I found it to be easy to install. The only thing I had to do was to remove the bottom and top of the plastic around the steering wheel, then plug it
There is no way around it. It is a GM
In short, yes.

The process takes no more than 10 minutes. I really like how easy it is had a Pontiac G6 2007 to do it and it only took a few minutes. In order to remove the three bolts underneath the steering column, you need a 7mm socket. (Unlike the youtube guy who said you need a dental tool in order to unclip the connector wires, I used my fingernails to unclip the wires. ) It was also not necessary for me to disconnect the battery! This is so easy, anyone with any level of technical ability In addition, it also resolved the problem when I made a turn and then put the steering wheel back straight ahead, the signal light went out. Purchasing it is highly recommended.
Several parts on my car were worn out because I bought my car used. Many times I would have to flip a turn-table After a turn, signal back manually I know it is a minor inconvenience, but it becomes bothersome when you have to turn a lot. The tutorial is called "HOW TO - Using Google Chrome's Search Features" and I found it on a forum called g6ownersclub. " that showed how to replace the lever for the turn signal switch. You only have to follow a few steps. A few clips need to be undone, wire harnesses need to be unplugged, and three screws need to be undone. Easy to replace in just five minutes! It's funny that I thought about taking this into the shop to have it repaired!.
The exact thing I was looking for. I found installing it to be easy and the fit was perfect. Here is what you need to know You will need to use a big screwdriver to connect the wires from the car to this module. The tabs should be pressed into place and the connectors from the old unit unplugged before the old module can be removed. The new module will slide into place once the old one is removed. Then gently reconnect the wire connectors. Follow these tips If you do not plug the airbag wire connectors firmly into the steering wheel before replacing the steering column cowling, your airbag indicator light will come on when you start the vehicle. In such a case, do not panic. It is simply a matter of removing the steering column cowling, making sure the wires are properly plugged in (at the top of the steering wheel airbag unit) and then replacing the steering column cowling. When the light goes off on its own (as it did for me), the door should shut.
I highly recommend this product. It works perfectly on my Pontiac G6 and Chevrolet Malibu in 2008. A hard shell cover is found in two halves on the steering wheel column. The three bolts at the bottom of the lower cover must be removed. Upon snapping the upper and lower covers apart, the lower cover will be pushed back The telescoping steering wheel will telescopically adjust to you once the steering column adjustment lever is unlocked. By pressing the two retaining clips for the switch with a small blade screwdriver you can lift the switch. The electrical connectors from the old switch should be removed, and the process for installing the new switch reversed. You should be able to do it in less than five minutes. You may find it easier to reach the steering wheel if the steering wheel can be telescoped.
I was able to install the switch on my 2006 Malibu with no modifications needed. I installed the switch on my car in less than ten minutes thanks to YouTube videos it was the easiest thing I've ever done. Only a couple dollars more than the cheap imitation part, this OEM GM part was a great deal. In order to ensure that the product fit correctly and was of good quality, I was willing to pay a little extra. would have to estimate that the dealership would have charged significantly more than $150 for this repair.
There is no longer any turn signal on my 2008 Pontiac G6. We ordered this part after watching some videos on youtube showing how to replace a turn signal. One video said we had to disconnect the battery before replacing it, but other videos did not appear to mention doing this. We decided to disconnect the battery first and replaced the turn signal with no problems. As a result, my turn signal now works correctly. There's still a way to reset the electronic clock that I need to figure out. Since I could not find this information in the owners manual, I hope to be able to find it online.
I like the price, but it's a bit of a first-world problem if I have to turn my turn-by-turn manually At the end of every turn, signal off. It was driving me insane, but I couldn't stop. This is what I finally decided to purchase for my 2008 Chevy Malibu LTZ as a result of finally giving up and buying it. It only took me 10 minutes to swap it out after I watched a quick video on how to do it. There is nothing I dislike about my life.
The old pair of turn signals wouldn't turn off after making turns as they should, however this replacement worked great, was completely OEM and took no more than five minutes to install. I am glad you found it as easy as possible. The top steering column plate should come off, then unscrew the three bolts (7mm) on the bottom column plate, then pull the bottom column plate out. Connect the two connectors on the signal module and disconnect them. There are two tabs holding the module in place, one at the top and one at the Out slides the old one, in goes the new one. Put on the column plates after you have connected. Although I had initial concerns before installing it that the stalk would be difficult to move, the stalk functions perfectly after installation.
