It does not, in fact. The original screws must be used again.
The same vehicle, a 1990 C1500, is used in my application. The switch is identical to the original in appearance and function. The handles are of a medium size. The switches are dark gray with bright white markings to match the rest of the cab's controls. br>For the price, it's worth installing even if it's still working just to get new, readable markings on my old switch, which were nearly worn away.
I'm not sure if they have a dash panel, but the switch I ordered for my boss's chevy fit perfectly and functioned flawlessly.
If you do some research on these trucks, you'll discover that the majority of the parts are interchangeable between 1988 and 1995. Engine parts will vary depending on whether the truck is four-wheel drive or two-wheel drive, and whether it is automatic or manual, but the basic components of the truck will remain the same during those years. The color may appear to be different, but the prongs are the same.

In original box, this is a good, genuine GM product. In a 1992 Suburban or trucks, it's simple to install. br>Excellent fit; when actuated, the switch feels solid. On the switch, the legends are clear and vivid. Just one piece of advice: Make sure the ambient temperature is comfortable warm when installing the switch, or move the dashboard instrument bezel to a warm room. Install in cold or freezing weather to avoid breaking the plastic tabs in the dash bezel while snapping the switch into place. br>Extremely happy with the fit and performance.
Installed in my 1994 GMC 4X4 pickup because it took a long time for my lights to turn on, the dash lights came on right away but the headlights didn't. It's a bit pricey, but not having to wait for your lights to turn on made it worthwhile. They now turn on immediately when I turn them on.
It was a perfect fit for my 1990 Chevy K2500. The new switch is a lot more responsive than the old one. Because the switch handles all of the current for the lights, it's a common point of failure on these trucks. Add relays to your headlights and splice the stock headlight connector wires into the control side of the relay to solve the problem. This can be done with pre-made "Heavy Duty Headlight Harnesses. " As a result, the switch only controls the relay and not the headlights. You won't have to replace the switch again, and your headlights will function more effectively.
I was in desperate need of a new headlight switch. It arrived today after I placed my order the day before yesterday. It was exactly what I had envisioned, and it was exactly what my 1995 GMC Safari van required. Also, the price was very reasonable. I'm not joking when I say it'll be delivered over night.
Okay, the part looked good and even came in an acdelco parts box, but after installation, I discovered that my light came on, but that as I drove, the lights would cut in and out. After removing the cover from the switch, I discovered that the quality of the part was poor, and I ended up repairing my old one.
Make a point of watching a video on how to do it. br>It's not difficult, but if you don't follow the procedures, you'll break things. br>PRIOR TO REASSEMBLY, INSPECT THE GROUNDS BEHIND THE DASH. GROUND POINTS ARE DEGRADED IN THE MAJORITY OF ISSUES.
Other repairs with the holder were required. The switch that was defective was replaced. If I had to do it all over again, I'd replace the rotary dash light dimmer control as well. br>br>The most difficult part for me was finding a holder for the new headlight switch. The four mounting posts had been shattered. As a result, I used epoxy to glue the holder in place, followed by epoxy to glue the switch in place. br>br>The switch is easy to use and has a satisfying snap action.
I'm not sure when the light first began to flicker and then went out. Too much time has passed. The problem persisted even after I purchased a new switch. It has come to a halt with the help of this product!.
