The leather has the same feel as the original. I'm not sure what it's made of, but it didn't matter to me because my cover had been ripped to shreds.
No, you reuse your old console's screws. I don't recall how many screws I used, but I believe there were seven.
Fabric made of vinyl or leather is attached to a plastic form. With four to six screws, the lid is secured to a hinged plastic substrate that is part of the center console. On the internet, there are a few good youtube videos that explain the process. It was a cinch to solve the problem.
The entire lid, including the cover, was included in this sale. It's very nice, and it's incredibly simple to set up!

Only time will tell how long it will last, but it appears to be in good condition overall. Screw holes could be improved, as installing them on the new cover was much more difficult. (2010 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L) L)br>br>The video's quality was ruined due to Amazon's poor video transcoding. It was supposed to be in 1080p at 60 frames per second.
It is simple to put together. This was a quick and inexpensive replacement for our Accord's worn stock center console. It looks great and could easily be mistaken for a factory part. br>br>Before installing on the center console, I recommend running the screws all the way in and out of the product. Because the small holes aren't tapped and the angle of installation makes applying enough pressure to cut threads difficult, I stopped halfway through installation, removed it, and precut the threads by running all the screws in and out. After that, it was a piece of cake to set everything up.
The dealer and some aftermarket manufacturers are charging an absurd amount for this, making it the best buy ever. Because I refused to spend more than $85 on my center console, it has been damaged for years. 00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:0 00 is the price of this item. I installed the armrest and it looks fantastic; in fact, I was considering purchasing a second one. Six outer screws and one center screw were used to complete the installation, which took ten minutes. To get to the center screw, you'll have to extend the armrest.
The arm rest was simple to put together, taking only ten minutes. I'm glad I didn't go through the dealer because they insisted on buying the entire center console. Amazon delivered it to me ahead of the scheduled delivery date. I agree with Aaron Smith; before installing on the center console, I recommend screwing all the way in and out of the product. The small holes aren't tapped, and the angle of installation makes it difficult to apply enough pressure to cut threads, but otherwise it's a simple installation. All I can say is that I'm hoping it'll last.
Likes: br>Cheap and looks OEM in texture and color (mine is gray)br>Installation was simple. Under the console lid, there are a total of (8) Philipshead screws. Close the console lid and slide it forward to access the (2) rear screws (towards the back of the car), then open the lid and you'll see them. br>Dislike:br>I trimmed a bit of the extra vinyl stapled to the underside of the lid away from the screw holes to make sure the screw went in easily. br>It looks great and there are no complaints.
As you can see in the photo, the compartment cover on our 2012 Honda Accord had seen better days. The dealership told me they didn't sell replacements and suggested I look online, so I did. Since this was the recommended replacement and the reviews were positive, I ordered it and was looking forward to having a new center console that didn't look like elephant skin. br>br>The item arrived quickly, and I followed another reviewer's advice and ran the screws through the holes before attempting to install it. While this helped, there was some excess fabric covering the holes that I had to trim away; I hope this did not compromise the fabric's integrity. I was able to install this in the middle of the night with little difficulty. I had a problem with one screw not going into the hole, and I didn't want to unscrew all the other screws to figure out why; I'm guessing I didn't get the fabric trimmed away far enough on that hole. In the daylight, I'll give it another go. br>br>In comparison to the wrinkled old fabric, the new fabric feels great and should be able to withstand my teenager's sweaty arms.
I was able to get it to fit on my 2010 Crosstour, but it wasn't as simple as the video made it appear. This, I believe, is largely due to shoddy workmanship in the vinyl-to-plastic casing connection. The material overhung the screw holes, so I had to trim it back, and it was still difficult to line up the holes with the casing. I'm hoping I won't have any issues with it in the future, but it does look better than the original damaged one did.
The color is most likely a slightly lighter and bluer shade of gray than the original, so it doesn't exactly match the interior, but there are enough shades of gray in the interior that it is barely noticeable. The quality is excellent, and the price is very reasonable. It's a perfect fit and appears to be solid, long-lasting, and in like-new condition. I'm very pleased with my purchase and would buy it again without hesitation.
