Questions & Answers

Is it going to fit in a Honda Crosstour from 2012?

Yes, I'm a dealer, and they work great on both the doors and the center consoles that break down.

Is this for the entire project as depicted? Do you have a lid and a cover? (This package contains the following items: 1x console lid armrest cover (this item includes the lid as well as the cover)?

That was my thought as well. The old console lid on my Honda had a lot of peeling on it. On Amazon, I was looking for something to "cover up" my old console's unappealing appearance. Before purchasing, I enquired about the product and decided to take a chance. br> Because I'm terrible at installing and assembling things, I asked the dealership if they could assist me with the installation because I'm a regular customer. Yes, they agreed, and the item was put in place. They took the car, as well as my newly purchased cover, and returned it 15 minutes later, with the console in like-new condition. "Mission Accomplished" with a $20 lid and 15 minutes of installation time (I was told 8 screws). Although I was not present during the installation, I am pleased with the result. It does not appear to be a cover-up or patch-up job. It appears to be a brand-new lid, and the issue was never present. For me, this was a fantastic purchase!

Will this work on a Honda Crosstour from 2013?

My 2008 Honda Accord sedan, which is slightly lighter in color, was a perfect fit.

Is this going to fit on a 2012 Honda Accord coupe?

I haven't decided yet. It was a perfect match for my 2009 Honda Accord. You should be able to tell if it fits your year, make, and model by looking at the specifications.

Selected User Reviews For Ezzy Auto Black Leather Suture Console Armrest Lid Cover for 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 Honda Accord Center Console Cover Lid

This is an excellent replacement! To demonstrate the difference between the old and new armrests, I've attached a photo
5/5

The only thing to watch out for when installing the new cover is that the excess leather under the cover doesn't cover up the screw holes (there are seven screws to remove this cover), or you'll have to remove the cover, move the leather out of the way, and reinstall it. This isn't a major problem, and it won't harm the piece; it'll just be inconvenient to have to redo it.

Take note of what I've done wrong
5/5

I'm not usually compelled to write product reviews, but this time is different. In 2017, the armrest covering began to tear and quickly degraded on my perfectly good, very reliable '09 Honda Accord. I absolutely must have a comfortable arm rest in a vehicle, or I will go insane! By pure chance, I came across a highly rated local vinyl, rubber, and leather mobile repair business. They specialized in auto interior repairs, if that makes sense. I reached out to them and sent them photos of the issue. For the repair, I was given a price of just over $200. I scheduled an appointment and took a day off from work to do so. On the day of the appointment, the technician was punctual. He asked me to return to the car less than 5 minutes after I left him to finish his work. "Well, we've got a problem," he said. Our fix isn't going to work. " He held up a replacement arm rest that was far too dark in grey to pass muster. To be honest, it was close to being completely black. I stated that I believed they were in the process of repairing the problem. The response was, "We just ordered a new armrest. " "It looks like we'll need to place another order. " We'll order it and reschedule your appointment accordingly. " Wow, that's fantastic. I didn't do anything with a vacation day. When I asked how long the repair would take, they said it would be less than 30 minutes. For less than 30 minutes, you're going to have to pay $200. I decided to look for other options and came across this product on Amazon. There is no such thing as a dead-end street. In terms of color, everything is spot on. The stitching and fit and finish aren't as good as the original from the factory. However, removing the original, installing the replacement, photographing the process, and writing this review took less than 30 minutes. In addition, I've made a $175 savings. I could buy three more of these and replace them as they break down until the car is no longer usable.

It's a foregone conclusion

My 2009 Honda Accord EX-L's faux leather is in bad shape. L burst about four years ago, and it tore soon after. Rubber cement was used to repair it, and it lasted for three days. After that, I used a vinyl glue to dissolve the faux leather. I've had to live with it since I only found the covers (no plastic backing) when I went looking for it. I came across this the other day and decided to take advantage of it. I received it today and put it in place. The only issue with the installation was that some of the screw holes were blocked by the faux leather. To ensure that the faux leather back did not cover the holes, I had to trim it. This is held in place by seven screws. To access the bottom two and the one in the center, you must push the console lid forward (it normally translates back and forth). I can now rest my arm on a nice, smooth surface. I only wish I'd done it four years ago!.

But what if the price is good but the quality isn't? I didn't expect OEM because OEM is a lot more expensive than this product
3/5

But I had hoped to be able to install it at the very least. As you can see in the photos, I'm having trouble screwing it in because the holes are too small. I've included photos of both the old and new parts. They don't come with a pre-cut hole for the screw's thread, and even if they did, the hole is too small. I'm hoping the seller reads my feedback and gets in touch with me.

The fit was ideal, and the overall appearance was fantastic
3/5

I only gave this armrest three stars because I don't think it will last very long. When I tossed a backpack from the driver's seat into the passenger seat, it rubbed against the armrest and scratched the fake leather badly. I wish the material was stronger so that a slight rub of a harder item would cause such damage. The fit was perfect and it looked awesome, so if you plan on never having anything brush across it to damage it, it's a great product; however, I wish the material was stronger so that a slight rub of a harder item would cause such damage.

Replace the console in your 2009 Honda Accord
5/5

I'm not sure why I didn't get it sooner. I was in desperate need of a replacement for my torn console. The tan one was the one I ended up with. In terms of color, it's a perfect match. You'll need to go to YouTube to watch a video on how to remove the old cover and replace it with the new one. To remove the old cover, seven screws must be removed (the hard plastic console remains in place). It's just the top cover you're replacing). I discovered that the mounting screws I removed would not fit back into the new cover slots (though they could be forced). I had some 1 inch small sheet metal screws on hand, which worked perfectly in place of the OEM screws.

The fit is almost perfect
5/5

It fits well, but not quite as well as the original. br>It takes a little longer to put this together because you have to apply a lot of pressure to get everything to line up. Material appears to be a little thin. br>br> I like the way it looks, but I don't think it's right for me. Don't hold your breath for this to last long. br>br>The pieces for the arm rests on the doors have the same fitment issues. br>br>Nearly there, but not quite.

The beige color does not match the original leather seats, as many reviewers have pointed out, but since the car is 12 years old, I don't mind
3/5

The cover, however, does not fit the 2009 Honda Accord EX-L. More snaps are added to the cover. less into place, but the screw holes are at least 3/16" too far back, preventing the screws from being reinserted. The cover will not slide into the proper position no matter how hard you pound it or manipulate it, so it cannot be permanently attached. br>br>This is unfortunate because the cover appears to be well-made. Because the leather is thin, it will not last indefinitely, but neither did the original Honda cover.
