The fact that a closed system and the overflow on radiators only open if there is a lot of exoansu doesn't matter
This connector is about the size of a pin. A 39in hose can be fitted to it. Five-eighths of an inch is too big, it has a tendency to leak.
Originally designed to catch and store radiator overflow coolant, it occupies a space under Rust can be prevented in the cooling system when it is used. Improve cooling by reducing the temperature.
The expansion tank is used to expand liquids. As the coolant expands in the radiator, it will exert a force greater than the radiator cap's rating, and it will enter the After the radiator cools, a vacuum is created and fluid will flow back into the expansion tank after it is cooled.

I find the product to be good in general. This part was used to install a coolant reservoir on a Miata with a V8 swapped in. It was small enough to fit in the engine bay with not much space to spare. If it's not sufficient considering the volume of coolant in the engine and radiator, and the heat generated by the fluid expansion, the total volume might be inadequate. There's certainly better than the previous owner who just dumped the hot radiator fluid on the ground when it was A minor complaint, as many others have indicated, is that the interior diameter of the hose included is too large for a good fit / seal with the radiator barb. As for the rest of the product, it seems to be fine. Despite being well built and relatively easy to install, this product looks good and works well.
As far as overflow tanks go, this is an excellent option. You can make it look great in the engine bay and use it for many purposes. In my opinion, the mounting bracket doesn't leave you with many options for securely clamping it to a core support. I wanted this near my radiator, but the mounting tab doesn't mount flat, you can only hang it off a flat surface, which I did not like. Despite its price, this is still an excellent product.
It is nicely built, and the finish and quality are decent. While it's not incredibly fancy, it does exactly what it's supposed to do. These were exactly what I needed in terms of form and function. I found the hoses and other materials included to be very useful. The alternative I chose saved me at least $80 over the same thing.
I put this on my Joyner Dirtdevil 250cc buggy, and it looks fantastic Besides the durable finish and metal lid, the bottle also has a plastic handle. Nice. The mounting hardware was alright, I ended up building my own mount. The package contained a very large stainless hose clamp and two weird brackets that I had no idea what to do with. The price was also a great deal and the product looks great.
The bottle is just the right size, and it was easy to install. The only issue is the orange hose didn't fit the radiator hose, so I used my original hose. Afterward, I went for a test drive, and all is well.
The only negative is that there was rusting on the cap upon delivery. There is a possibility that my coolant could be contaminated.
The welds are nice, and the finish is excellent. The paint is a sparkling metallic black, but does not state otherwise. It is recommended that the hose be disposed of. I thought the mounts were okay, and overall they were worth the price.
Third, the hole in the lid is FLAWING, getting to the radiator and engine. Here's an example A jet of coolant of 240 degrees Fahrenheit is shooting into the underside of the hood as the car is overheating. You open the hood and see this. Taking a trough of water and then dumping it on you-that sounds fun!.
