It was inevitable that my Ford's heat and air conditioning system would leak. It was super easy to install this reservoir behind the dashboard above and to the right of the engine cover (once I removed it) and just use a wire loom mounting screw that was already The original red vacuum hose was pulled into a mounting hole (a la Utube), connected to the black port on the 3 way diaphragm, then connected to the reservoir, and to the black line coming from the distribution system. A minimum of 18 inches of 5/32 tubing will be used and no additional fittings will be used. The business is back on track. I recommend it.

An additional safety measure to ensure that there is no vacuum leak when repairing the AC/Heat vacuum source on the E250. The air blower motor air comes out of the defrost vents only when Ford Vans have this common issue, and the dash control does not switch to other doors when the issue occurs.

Considering the price, it was a good deal! I installed this under the dash of my 2002 E-350 aero after struggling with the air conditioning for years I bought it for $150 and it works like a charm

Original is in a hard to find place, so I gave up on In the next step, I rerouted the vacuum hose inside the van and then cut it.

The steps you need to take to make sure your vent system is functioning properly- Installing it in the factory mounting position is not recommended

You'll be able to get your vent system working like new in no time- Install it according to factory spec, just don't try to reach it in factory mounting position. for it, you owe it to yourself Place the tube behind the passenger dash panel with a new check valve and see how folks mount it.

If you own a Ford and it has been around for a few years or more, you'll want this. Despite its small size and ease of mounting, this was a solid product. My Class C RV, which has a Ford Econoline chassis, was able to fix the vent issue with this kit.
