Because I couldn't find one for my Subaru Outback 2003 on Amazon and didn't want to pay $50 or more at the dealer, I bought a generic $4 cap. It does not fit like a factory one, but it can be put on and is very stable; the only problem is that it is difficult to take off, which is fine.

I had to replace the original cap because I forgot to screw it back on and it was beaten to death by the wind while the tether was attached to it. This one is a perfect match! It is impossible to tell that it has been replaced.
