Original covers are a perfect fit. These have taken the place of the sun-bleached ones. Definitely worth the money.
I really like how these turned out. There are no issues at all. I'm considering getting some for the bathroom mirror lights as well. br>br>As you can see in the pictures, I used these as well.
It's been on the truck for several months and through several storms and car accidents. So far, there has been no visible wear or tear. I would recommend this product to anyone!.
The OEM fit is perfect, and the swap takes only 5 minutes. Because of the brittle plastic in older trucks, you may need to replace the entire assembly. One of my housings had a crack in it. In the future, it will be replaced.
My old ones, on the other hand, were amber in color. I needed to replace them because the ones I had were very foggy. These are nice and clear, with a good amount of transparency. Arizona Beige with Black Two Tone is the color combination on my truck. As a result, I decided to make the lights black. Otherwise, the amber color would have been my choice. My only reservation about the amber substitutes is that they appeared to be more yellow than amber to me. Last but not least, I wish they had included some new foam gaskets, but mine were still in good shape.
Time will tell if it fits well and appears to be of good quality. If they had come with new screws and gaskets, I would have given them a five-star rating.
The fit is perfect. I'm also relieved that I was able to purchase the lens without having to rent it.
I would have preferred them to be a little lighter in color, but they are far superior to the stock amber covers on a Ford Transit T350HD.
