These lights are reasonably priced, simple to install and wire, and appear to be well constructed. They look fantastic on my trailer and provide plenty of light even during the day. On a partly cloudy summer afternoon, these pictures were taken. They are not, however, a true rectangle, as one side is nearly 2 mm shorter than the other. This may not appear to be a big deal, but it bothers me a lot. I went ahead and used them, figuring that my anal OCD self would adjust eventually. If the dimensions listed in the description were accurate, I would give them 5 stars.
When I contacted customer service about the lights filling up with water, they promptly sent me a replacement set. They are not waterproof, despite the fact that they can be sealed to make them waterproof. Perfect replacement for boat trailer lights is stated in the description, and I even contacted them to request that the description be changed, but nothing has changed. As a result, if you seal the wires where they enter the back of the lights, these can work for boat trailer lights. Customer service is excellent, and the lights are bright; however, the product is not waterproof.
With the addition of these lights, the trailer's visibility has greatly improved. I haven't been in the lake yet, but I did my own silicone sealing and am confident that this one small step will waterproof these lovely lights on my boat trailer. The size and functionality are perfect. Highly recommended, and the sealing process is incredibly simple. Apply clear silicone to wire penetrations and the lens seam, and you're all set!.
On my pontoon trailer, I wanted to replace my old filament lights with newer LED lighting technology. This kit includes front and rear side marker lights that are bright and use a fraction of the energy used by traditional light bulbs. It was well worth the money.
Because the trailer had already been pre-assembled, it was relatively simple to put together. wired. These lights have a great deal of brightness. There were no problems at all. For the price, it's a good deal.
We used these to replace broken lights on an older trailer and they were a perfect match. On new installations, I would suggest LEDs.
It's perfect for adding tail and turn signal lights to my ebike.
