A simple on off button came with my fog lights, but you're not required to use it. You just plug it into the harness, but it's completely up to you. Because I couldn't imagine any instance in which I would want my fog lights to be used by themselves, I connected this wiring into the park light wiring near the connector that goes into the passenger side headlight. In this way, I did not have to extend or add any wiring to the supplied harness, and all wiring would remain in the engine compartment, and I wouldn't need to run any wires from the engine to the cab. The installation was incredibly simple because of this. Since now, whenever I turn on the parking lights or the head lights, the fog lights will be Since the lights were installed, I have had them for nearly three weeks, and they are looking great and I am enjoying their functionality.
A wiring connector is included with the fog lights, however it does not connect to any factory wiring There are ring terminals on the battery harness that are connected to the positive side and to the ground. Fitting them in the fog light housings of the new front end style of the silverado is required. An old or old-style body is called the ld. there are a lot of companies that make nice lights for the old style body ( which I personally prefer to anyhow lol ) as well, but be sure they are not for the new body style for 2019. * You can give them zero stars because they won't let me give zero stars. * The instructions are awful ( how to connect the wires and how to put the switch in the truck cab) and there is not one single video on YouTube showing you how to hook up. Despite my email to customer service, I never received a response. I will return this product TOMORROW AM! There is almost a case to be made for taking the pickup and allowing the dealer to install it.

This is a good product. If I were to buy the OEM setup, I would have to go to the dealership for programming, so I wanted something with a separate toggle switch. There is no problem with this product, and the price is reasonable.
