Hello, I have a 2002 Ram 1500 that also didn't come with factory fog lights. I just checked and it doesn't have the connectors tucked behind the bumper or anywhere else for that matter. Is this why I don't have the proper wiring for the fog lights?
No, it's not a plug-and-play solution for your 2008 1500.
The bulbs were included in the package. The lighting is excellent.
I really like these lights because of the plastic lens. On my 3500, it's very adjustable, with a clear light, a stable and secure mounting system, and it's ready to use. I'd buy them again if the opportunity presented itself.

It was incredibly simple to set up, plug and play, and it came with all of the necessary hardware. In total, it took about 20 minutes to swap them out using a 10mm socket and a rachet. I'm going to check to see if they're the same part number for my father-in-law's truck and get him some as well, because they're great for the price.
These lights are extremely bright and fit perfectly. I'm very pleased with the product, as evidenced by the photos!.
Build quality is excellent. The amount of light produced is mind-boggling. The first image shows a fog housing with LED bulbs from the factory. There are only dogs on the premises. The LED housing in the second photo is a significant improvement. I had to do some aiming, but the light output is almost as good as the headlights. This upgrade is highly recommended.
I'm relieved that these fog lights do exactly what they're supposed to do for the price they're asking. Prior to these, I had purchased and returned a well-known brand, and I had to return them because they didn't add any light to my stock truck's halogen light pattern. These lights are exactly what I needed; they have very little glare, even less than halogen bulbs, as you can see in the photo, and they cast light in a pleasing pattern that provides both peripheral and forward lighting. I'm very happy. It was simple to set them up and plug them in. But there's one thing I'd like to point out: I re-read the book. Because of the larger head, I used the stock bolts.
For anyone who enjoys seeing at night, this is a must-have item. It produces a beautiful light pattern and is bright enough to run without the use of headlights. These are an excellent complement to some LED headlights for maximizing your truck's light output. These helped me see in the dark snow-covered passes on a 2500 mile road trip. They are something I would recommend to anyone who has a dodge. It was a straightforward and simple installation. When I installed them, I used the factory hardware.
I was planning on replacing the fog lights and then the headlights on my 2007 RAM 2500, but given how bright these fogs are, I think I'll wait. They aren't oncoming traffic blinders (if properly leveled), but they do provide clear, bright light where it's needed. Even in the dead of winter, out in my driveway, installing these was simple and took only a few minutes. br>br>I've had them on since before they really started to work (mid-February now), and I'm still impressed. I should have gotten these years ago for the price.
It is a brain-friendly setup. It's dead simple, and if you have the right tools, replacing each light takes about 4 minutes. On a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500, I installed this set of lights. br>br>The only issue I'm having with the lights is that they're shining way too brightly after they've been installed. as if it were in the trees To lower the actual angle of the lights back down onto the road, I need to go under the truck and add a few washers to the top bolts. br>br>The lighting is extremely bright! I also enjoy that part. Just keep in mind that with a standard installation and without adjusting the light's angle, the light-up time will be reduced. The trees and poles along the road will be illuminated by the beam, but not the road ahead. This does not, in my opinion, justify the rejection of these otherwise very bright and attractive lights. br>br>If I needed to, I would buy this product again, and that is the highest rating I can give any product.
These fog lights don't get much love, but if you have an older truck, the amount of light output you get from them is great. I put them on my stepfather's truck and we went for a ride with them. They are very bright and have a white and blue color temperature. They mount right up to the original mounts with no problem and took less than 20 minutes to install. They are dot approved and instill confidence around dark corners.
