I think it will fit, yes, since the windshield retainer is on the inside of the windshield, and the hardtop resides on top of it, so there is no interference when the hardtop is on.

The top has tabs on both sides for hooking down. Does this have the tabs on both sides? Do you mean the little button that looks like a tab?

It does not have any tabs on the side. There are some windshields that have a snap that allows certain tops and Bikinis to easily snap on.

There are two of them Despite cutting about 14” off to get the curved outer pieces to match, it did fit my '86 CJ7, but I had to adjust the outer pieces so they matched As far as I can tell, the screw provided was insufficient to fit into the existing holes in my windshield frame but that wasn't I used it on my vehicle with some modification, and it did what it was designed to do

I installed the channel in a couple of minutes after receiving two parts, simple instructions, and a channel box. In the event that you drop one of the included screws, there are extras. In addition, I ordered the matching bikini top at the same time as this.

This top does not have the button spot on the older bikini tops, but there is really no need to snap them in, I am perfectly satisfied with just having them The installation was simple, I not only did not have to drill holes in mine, but I had to use the existing holes.
