I was very pleased with the shipping time and the installation process. The factory strip that holds my wife's side bumper had failed and tore the screw out that held it to her fender liner, so we used these to install the bumper. My round parts were easy to install into the bumper and front fender by drilling two small holes, sealed the fender side with Rustoleum paint, then inserted the screw through the round holder and into the hole, then tightened them with the locking nut supplied. Each peace was installed by taking the rubber off of the o-ring The bumper is held in place by a ring/band that is placed around each of the holders in an X shape. The parts are made of aluminum, which makes them super lightweight, and the screws and locking nuts are stainless steel, so there is no chance of them rusting. The rubber rings on this kit are larger than those on other kits I have used, so they should last for a long time.
10 out of 10 I would recommend it if you have a need for infrared devices.
There were no connection pieces left for the bumper other than the ones in the wheel wells on my old accord. these quick connects you can do so much work on your car thanks to the guides.
I have a spare set to replace the ones I've used on the other side.
The front bumper I bought is for my son's 2006 Scion xB. I like how easy it is to use them and how well they work.
There are no instructions included with the product, but it is a fairly straightforward process. Compared to branded ones, it seems they are of the same quality. Parts required to complete the project are.
We were disappointed to discover that one of the bands broke after a couple of uses It has been 4 weeks since I have been here.
I live in Colorado where the temperature fluctuates constantly, so I was wondering how the bands would hold up in our climate. That's not what they did. It's a shame I was Maybe you can use a hair tie to try and fix it.
It has been 10 months since I used these on my Honda and I have been to Arizona and back, and my car has also been through a drive-thru car wash, and they are still holding up fine. Unfortunately, they do not come with instructions, but are good quality otherwise. I had to look up a video because they are easy to install, but otherwise, they are great.
Overall, it received a thumbs down because of missing parts and the fact that it looked like it had been opened. This is horrible. It has to be rigged by me since I can't find components that will fit the pieces I am missing, so I'm spending more money looking for products. I promise never to do it It ends up wasting your time and ultimately costing you.
