Thank you. I think you might need an extension kit for your Genie garage door opener. There are seven inches between my door and the wall. It was hard to get belt and feet on. Added to the belt is an extension kit that comes with a special version. if I remember correctly, the price is around 40 dollars. Amazon prohibits links, so you'll have to search for the Belt-Drive Extension Kit on the website yourself. Here is what I hope will help.

Can I get a quietlift or silentmax? This is the silentmax 37561R part number. The S stands for a 7'. According to the specs in the description, I think this model 37561S will match the 8'.

What size Genie 1024 will fit this?

There is a part number for this operator, 36607B and a part number for a 7' belt, but these belts are every where I look For the Genie 1024, there is no belt available from the Genie parts website. This belt might be OK, but I am not sure whether it works.
