It's 10mm or 25/64 in size. For fuel injection, the fit is far too loose. It was sent with the hose on the left. The hose on the right is 3/8th inch in diameter. It was too big, according to one review. They were correct in their assessments. When I tried to put a 3/8 nipple on it, it was too loose. So I measured it with the micrometer, and it was 10mm a 3/8, which should be 9. 525mm. Fuel injection isn't going to work.
the most cost-effective method of purchasing this ridiculously expensive hose.
It fit very loosely over the OEM 3/8 steel fuel line, and even more loosely over the steel 3/8 line's enlarged rib that helps keep the hose in place. 3/8-inch fuel clamps can only be tightened to the point of not leaking.
So far, it's working. I replaced a metal fuel line on a 1999 Silverado with a regular rubber fuel line, which burst in a day after I double clamped both ends.
Fuel injection, on the other hand, was rated at 100 pounds per square inch. The only way to find out is to wait.
a wonderful hose.
For hooking up the fuel injection lines on my 1970 Challenger, this was a good price.
