Questions & Answers
For these applications, I'd recommend using marine-grade hose. You can't be sure unless Continental provides compliance standards for abrasion and fuel resistance. USCG A1- a1- a1- a1- a1- Don't get stranded with a standard score of 15!
It's what I use on my outboard motor.
It's rubber, dude. Rubber fuel lines have a lot of pliability. It will not kink if you work within the confines of common sense. It won't be a problem for you.
Although it says it's not for fuel injection, I was able to use it successfully for low-pressure return and low-pressure feed. I'd be concerned about degradation from sunlight or fatigue/movement if used in a marine environment. I wouldn't use this as a primary feed line for e85 or diesel, and it should be sheathed and abrasion resistant.

This hose appears to be of good quality, but it bears the following label on the reel: "On fuel-injected engines, do not use for pressure lines. " That's why I'm looking for it: br>br> I figured a working pressure of 50 psi would suffice (my system only reaches 45 peak pressure), but I'm not willing to risk using pressurized fuel in such a hot environment.
br>br>Because the spindle's bend radius is less than the minimum, the hose has flattened and collapsed. br>br>The hose is no longer round, and sections of it have been damaged and crushed. br>br>Sometimes all you can do is shake your head in astonishment.
I've paid twice as much for fuel hose at auto parts stores, so I believe this is a good deal. It's difficult to say how long this hose will last over time, but I believe there is a minimum standard if it's designed for gasoline; overall, it appears to be of good quality, and I would purchase it again.
I purchased this while replacing my fuel filter because today's Obama gas contains ethanol and I needed a hose that could handle it. It was simple to cut out and put together. The only way to know how long it will last is to wait and see.
This was a very good hose at a reasonable price, and it even stated that it was made in the United States. The only change I made was to remove it from the spool and coil it into a larger coil for storage because the hose's roundness was being distorted by the small spool.
I would not buy this product again.
This is what I've been using on my lawn and garden equipment, as well as my Case tractor with a 100 horsepower. It is of good quality and fits well. This is not for high-pressure fuel lines (injectors).
I used it on my Jeep Liberty 3 that had been lifted. For my front and rear diff breather hoses, I used this with hose clamps to mount to the diff, then extended it up to the highest point on the vehicle without protruding inside the cab or outside in the weather so far so good.
