Filler neck is something I don't know about. 3/8" is the diameter of the solenoid.
The idea is that the aluminum T is below the level of the factory cap, and there's a check valve in the small side of the T (where the aux line comes in) that, when the factory tank reaches that level, it cuts off supply from the aux tank. It appears to be functional, but I have yet to install it and cannot comment on its effectiveness. I hope this information is useful.
This has an overflow protection valve that is meant to be gravity fed from a auxiliary tank in your bed.br>It will fit if you have 1 auxiliary tank in your bed. RDS has applications for 1/2 filler necks, which come in a variety of sizes, and they also make tanks.
It should, because it's a perfect fit for my 2018 F250 Powerstroke.

What can I say, great job package; the only thing I would change is the hose to be more UV friendly and/or have a specific section that is covered so that UV light does not crack it. I've had mine for a few months now and it works great. I did change out my ball valve so that I could get a 90° angle with a bigger handle, but the rest of it still works great. I would just suggest that they make the hose more compliant with being able to get even by the sun, as I had to throw a rag on top of the section that is exposed to daylight to keep the sun from cracking it, as a piece of tubing that I lacked was.
So far, everything has gone well. Everything is working fine since it was installed yesterday. br>If you have a bed liner, depending on the tank you get, you'll want to put an elbow on the tank and run the fuel line out in a different spot vs straight out of the tank. br>To protect the fuel line that runs through the truck's bed, I used a piece of 3/4 heater hose.
THIS IS THE LAST THING I WANT TO DO! Not enough hose is included to route to the filler neck, and not only does the ball valve leak, but once it overfills, fuel starts pouring out even faster. This resulted in a loss of $200 in diesel. I ignored the previous warnings and reviews, and now I'm paying for it.
I decided to buy this product rather than build my own because I thought it would be easier. The ball valve, however, began to leak shortly after installation, and the very cheap hose clamps began to loosen and leak as well. I believe they could have provided better hose clamps and a more well-made ball valve assembly for the same price. I would advise you to buy the parts separately rather than wasting your money on these low-cost parts.
There was a leak in the on/off valve. The aluminum body with the check valve is too tall to fit the 2017 F250 properly. For shutoff, I installed a 90° fitting with an electric solenoid. If I had to do it all over again, I would simply tap a fitting into the fuel fill line tube. Thanks.
The first one began to leak from the moment it was installed. My email regarding the issue was ignored by the company. To get the value part, I had to buy the entire new kit and pay for it to be installed again. It doesn't work as well as the first. In the truck, he pours gasoline all over it. Don't waste your money on this nonsense! If negative stars were available, I would give it one.
It's a bit pricey for what you get, but it was the best deal I could find.
