QUIOSS Engine Air Intake Hose 696-009 Fits Nissan Frontier Pathfinder Xterra 4.0L V6 2005 and up

The first hose I drove had duck tape on it for months. The hose seems cracked pretty much all the way around and is sucking more air. The dealership wants around 90 dollars for it. Whether these hoses are a tight fit on my 2005 Nissan Xterra, no leaks will occur. I would not say they are pulled off a car, since they appear to be new and unused. The product is good but won't need to be purchased again.

I do not understand why the rubber pieces are so good, while the hose clamps are trash. All is well now that I have used the clamps from the original hoses.

I love the fit, but the clamps are rubbish. It is either to buy new good ones or to use older OEMs. In the event of a fight going on, flip the short fighter around apparently it goes the wrong.

The fit is great, like they came from the factory. I also saved the original clamps because the clamps worked well but didn't appear to be as high quality as OEM. This is a good time to clean the throttle body and relearn the throttle and idle settings.

There were cracks and dry rot in my old boots. It's a good idea. A thick rubber of good quality seems to be available. But don't throw away your old clamps. Use your old ones instead.

The unit can be easily replaced. Using old clamps is a good idea. The complaints are not valid.
