I would recommend that you use the air box end for this instead of the throttle body. Hot water made the stretch end more pliable, so I soaked it in hot water for a couple of minutes. There is a fiddly job overall, but I think the problem is linked to the Infiniti design. I took about 30 minutes to replace the part. I will leave you with another It would be a good idea to replace the air filter as well while you have the air system out? Wishing you good luck and wishing you a lot of.
It is used on the intake of a G35 from 2005. As soon as I boiled it, it fit perfectly. Someone told me you have to boil it to make it fit. Even if I tried to make it for without, it was not going to I've fixed the jerking that occurred when I put my foot down hard on the pedal.
Originally, it was going to be for a 2004 One side of the picture is larger than the other if you look closely. The smaller side didn't show through, I just warmed the smaller end up a bit with the heat gun. Clamps from the originals were used. I was able to get it to work.
The parts will fit the G35 Coupe from 2005. There is a smaller circumference on one end of the cable, however you can stretch it out so that one end fits smoothly around the air filter housing of the car while the other ends fit easily around the air intake.
I had to boil one end for several minutes in order to make sure that it would sit around the intake.
Fixed my problem and it's a great price. I'll buy it again.
Product was fast to arrive. I was able to use it to repair a ripped lower intake boot from a 2005 Infiniti G35. I found this to be quite tight, but it fitted well.
