Selected User Reviews For Timken 14125A Bearing
My dump trailer with dexter axles weighs 14,000 lbs. I ordered these bearings to stabilize the trailer. There are no problems with the installation, and it appears that the quality is Timken Bearings have been used before and I haven't had any problems with them. I do prefer the Timken due to prices and considering they typically last the same amount of miles, I prefer the Timken. I stick to Timken when available, even though cheaper brands exist. I have noticed thinner material in outer bearing housing, so I prefer that. The item comes packaged with nice plastic wrap and in a box. When you replace the bearing, do yourself a favor and replace the race as well. Bearings without races do not come with the retaining ring. Beware and order the 14276 Bearing Race in case you need one for your trailer.
My fifth wheel was squeaky and needed bearings/races replaced. They replaced the old part perfectly and fit perfectly. An excellent grade This Timken product is of superior quality Are there any other things you need?.
We are the largest bearing manufacturer in the world Regardless of where it is made, it is American made The ones made in China do not compare in reliability. As a consequence of their dependability, I have used Timken bearings for more than twenty years.
Because this is a genuine Timken bearing and not a copy, it is well worth the money I spent here and I will be buying more of them.
Since last few months, no China bearings have been installed. Over 40 of them have been made in the USA.
A new Chinese hub was installed on my horse trailer after the Chinese ones were damaged.
Steel of good quality sourced in the USA.
They might not be made in the US anymore, but they are still a much better value for the money. Additionally, the bearings are less expensive than those I get from my local bearing shop.
