These hub bolts are 1000 times better than the OEM ones

On my 2004 Jeep TJ, I had to replace the wheel hubs as well as the OEM 12-volt battery. It was a pain to get rid of the points. I soaked them in PB Blaster, heated them with a small torch, and smacked them with a hammer to loosen them, but only two of the six were stripped. br>By chance, I came across these, but the large 6-inch ones are the ones I'm looking for. The way it should have been from the factory is with a point head. Making use of a 6-inch There's no way they'll ever be rounded off. If you're going to remove the hub bolts, make sure you have these on hand when it's time to put it back together.

I had taken the originals apart a month before to replace wheel bearings, and now I needed to replace ball joints. The originals were so rusted that you couldn't get a bite on them to torque them back down to spec and strip out the heads, which made them even more fun to get out again. These were reinstalled and torqued to specification, saving me a lot of time and aggravation.

These nuts and bolts are incredible! If you've ever had to remove the stock ones, you know how difficult they are to remove and how easily they round off. So, here's a new one for you. br>br>I put them on a Dana 44-equipped 2008 Jeep Rubicon.

Bolts for the JK hub

If you're working on Jeep Jk/JKU front hubs, these bolts are a must-have because they allow you to use a 16mm socket instead of a 13mm 12 point socket, which makes things SO MUCH easier.

The removal of the hub bolts resulted in the breakage of the bolts. These were used in place of the originals. They perform admirably. This is a much better bolt pattern than Mopar's.
