The seal of good quality is exactly the same as the A 36mm socket and a bunch of extensions will help you remove the old seal and replace it with the new one. It should be between 8 and 10 thousandths of a millimeter when you double check the backlash, at least that's what my backlash was before I removed the carrier and after I reinstalled it. Getting the carrier out was not easy I had to pry it out from underneath with a crow bar you can find some YouTube videos that will help.

grease, these can be installed and you can rest assured that they will do the job they're supposed to. While I had the shafts out, I decided to replace the seals while I was replacing ball joints. It's my trust in Spicer products that has never been let.

These shoes are too tight and get caught in the back. As if that wasn't enough, there is also a newer version made by Timken and National that has a lip which makes it easier to put the CV shaft back in without ripping out the seal. Additionally, the seal appears to be more modern and updated as well.

Those seals were in poor condition when I received them
3/5

I smell rust! As a result of the condition of the seals when I received them, I gave this a one-star rating. In no way is this a negative review of Spicer, since they manufacture high This was most likely caused by improper handling/storage of the seals, causing moisture to get in, making them rust. The tires are in bad condition and no one should receive replacements in such a state. A big inconvenience and one that delays the completion of the job results from this situation. are definitely better controls that should be.

They did what they were supposed to! They need a 36mm socket, as well as a few more extensions to tap into them. Looks like it was in perfect condition after peeling off the old seals. They are the same.

It appears that these are the same parts I took off my Dana 30. FYI, I used rtv around the edges to prevent leaks.
