In the past, I have had good luck with this brand of battery and have purchased three of them. This one stopped working after just seven months of being installed as a backup battery for an alarm system, as the alarm system is again showing low battery warnings. In the end, the warranty is of no use since you have to both ship it back and pay a $9 warranty fee on top of that. You may as well just buy a new one for that price.

My alarm system has two of these batteries as a backup. The two lasted for six months each. It is horrible that warranties exist. We need to send the units back to be tested to make sure they aren't working, then we will send out new ones. It will cost me everything to ship the package. Instead of buying it at a local store, I should have done so. This was a valuable lesson.

It is an exact replacement for a 20 year old Elite Miracle One gate opener battery. In the past, the old ones lasted about 8 years and died about 5 months after the shelf life sticker expiration date. Terminals may be the right size and shape, but a shelf life sticker does not appear to come with these.
