It includes a round socket port for plugging things like cell phone chargers, it comes with a blade fuse holder if you need one, and it comes with a fuse if you need one as well. Functionality of the device is adequate. Anytime you do wiring, make sure to cover the exposed wires and connections In order to prevent a mini-short and blowing fuses or worse, causing a fire, shut off all the power to the device.
As far as I know, there are none. A positive wire should be connected to the center of the plug, and a ground wire should be attached to the spin on nut at the rear
However, I have it connected to a 20-amp fuse, and I have used a vacuum, and I have charged my phones and iPad with no issue

Wires included were a joke, even though they were rated at 7amps, even though they were rated this high, I wouldn't trust them to handle that much power. A heavy-duty metal design is the outlet as it stands, which we have come to love and install in our RVs, In order to run a macerator pump rated at 20 amps, I used my own 14 gauge wire and ordinary insulated spade connectors to hook into my RV's electrical system. After 30 minutes of use, the pump worked without a hitch and the outlet didn't even get warm to the touch. Local auto parts stores had it for $2 less but since we lived in a remote area and amazon shipping was lightning fast, it was worth it.
Delivery was fast. The outlet is only rated for 7 amps, which was shocking to me. Built with a metal housing made with heavy-duty feel, combined with ceramic insulation, it's very well made. Then why are there only seven As I looked at the dental floss hook up wire that was sent in the package, I realized it might have been 20 AWG. The problem is, I'm wondering if they down graded the amps to save on wire. If wired with 12 AWG, this should handle a load of at least 20 amps with no problem, and I would expect it to It's disappointing to see that it's only rated 600 watts!.
It would be great to have an additional power outlet in the back seat so my passengers could charge their phones and I did not receive one when I picked up my vehicle. Easy to install, as I ran the wires from the fuse panel to the rear of my center console. It looks like the application was installed by a manufacturer, and everyone is happy with its performance.
The lighters will do the job, but they are not outlets, they are cigar lighters. It is not common for power outlets to have the lighter holder on The danger of twisting off these plugs is similar to blowing a fuse with a lighter, but a power outlet is not like that.
The ash tray works fine however, because it is so long, it would not fit in my ashtray to replace the old one. However, the diameter remains the same.
The device does what is expected of it.
I like it because it's low-key A replacement would cost a lot of money. Since the last time I used this jack on my Goldwing, it must be at least two decades ago. The problem has finally been fixed. It fit right into the hole I already had and was easy to wire up. Since my rains have been so heavy, I haven't tried powering anything with it yet, but as soon as the rain stops I will.
