In order to access the inner finder well on the passenger side, you pull the inner finder well handle. You just have to pull out the center button and then the clip and you will be able to pull out the well easily. GM uses plastic push in holders. As well as three screws, there are also four washers. There was a problem with my truck in that it would lose power at very random times, or at least I couldn't find any The battery has been changed, nothing has changed. The battery relay fuse was changed just right behind the battery on the wall, but it did not work. A few others had similar experiences with GMC Sierras, so I did some research. Finding these cables was easy, as I obtained the part numbers from the GMC website and checked with the local dealership. The markup on these was about 50% at the dealer. It was ground, positive and the starter cable that needed to be replaced. It cost me 160 dollars and 80 dollars to have my mechanic serviced. As of now there has been no problem. It seems that some people are able to fix it by just changing the ground. To prevent guessing, I am just not going to In my opinion, if you're at your wit's end, you may want to change all three.
This is definitely not going to work, I don't know if I received the wrong part or what. of the cables don't match the ends that came installed on the truck and will therefore not connect to the back of the alternator. The connector should be a standard eye style, so it doesn't look like this modern It took me a long time to disassemble my truck, my only vehicle, in order to realize this would not I am mad that I was sent a part that was said to work but does not. After all that wasted time, now I have to put everything back together again and do it all.
It is a good replacement part. However, it does not replace Besides the piece connecting to the battery terminal, you also have to replace the entire cable from the firewall to the battery.
Exactly what I needed.
