The size of the negative terminal on this battery is the same as the size of the positive terminal, as seen in the pictures. DJW12 of the Leoch Company A positive terminal is F1 and measures three sixteenths of an inch This is 1/4" (6 mm) wide and F2 terminals are used on the positive. The Chamberlain DjW12 can be found on Amazon Look for the battery with the Chamberlain label on it you will see the smaller negative terminal there. Of course, they would be much more expensive.

The OEM battery I had for my liftmaster died, hence the purchase of this one. I thought this would work because it is made by Leoch. My battery says the same thing as "Leoch DJW12-" and there is no description A 12V battery which takes 5 volts. ". It was an unfortunate situation since one terminal on the OEM battery was smaller than the other, and therefore the new battery could not be connected. My order from BuyClerk included two batteries and I had to pay for shipping. I had to pay $14 to send it It is obvious that I will not purchase from them again, especially since their lack of descriptions resulted in me spending more time and money.
Chamberlain DC garage door opener came with the Chamberlain branded battery that actually came from the Leoch DJW12 series There is a small print on the battery that specifies 5 (two digits). The opener was replaced in 2016 (lasted three years) with a similar model from HD (where I purchased the opener three years ago). I recently had to replace that one (lasted 4 years), so I opted for this cheaper substitution. We will see how long this lasts, but things are looking good so far. My experience with the spade terminals was not the same as those reported by some. This battery comes with two smaller male spade terminals (the same size for black and red) instead of the larger female spade terminal that I have for the red wire on my opener. In my case, the larger red female terminal of the battery stayed snugly in place in the smaller male red terminal of the battery, so I didn't have to adjust it.

It is unfortunate that one of the terminals on the OEM battery is larger than the other, and therefore, I was unable I would appreciate it if we could return the incorrect battery for the one we need since I've already lost money and time because of the inadequate description.
" I don't know if I didn't look at the description closely enough or if I didn't read it enough, but the picture didn't match the description. Fortunately, I have some handy guys who made it all work out.
The battery fits garage door openers, so it can be used as a replacement.
It powered up our rather old home alarm system, which is now working again! After purchasing this battery we were able to fix our alarm system!.
I used this battery in place of the original Craftsman garage door opener without any problems. Since the negative terminal in the original battery and the clip that connected to it were a little smaller, I had to file down the negative terminal a little. I didn't have a lot of trouble.
