Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
When the engine reaches the temperature set by the thermostatic switch mounted in the engine head, or when the A/C is turned on, the dual activation cooling fan relay will turn on your cooling fan.
This kit is perfect for installing air conditioning in your project vehicle.
Posy-taps for the ignition and A/C compressor connections are easy to use.
The kit includes a 40-amp relay as well as a mounting base.

Questions & Answers

What is the on/off switch for the switch, and is this an ac fan on model?

The kit does not include an on/off switch. This can be used with either a single or dual fan. For the model of fan, you must purchase a pig tail. Simply splice the wire that goes to the AC (any AC system) into the AC clutch wire; when you turn on your AC, the fan will come on automatically, and or when the temperature reaches 212, and shuts off at 180, I believe. This kit works great on a Chevy 350 that I wired up. Is that what you were looking for? I only own one Spal fan and purchased the FR- This is accompanied by a PT jumper harness. For the temp sensor, this kit is reliant on the temperature at which your engine runs normally.

Excellent product! It's a great kit, and I don't think you can go wrong with it
5/5

My computer is equipped with two fans. I connected everything and started the engine; the thermostat opens at 185 degrees, the fan turns on at 200 degrees, and the engine shuts off at 180 degrees, exactly as it should. I can't speak for longevity, but there isn't much that can go wrong in this situation.
