Questions & Answers
My 69 power wagon, which has a Dana 44 axle, has dual steering stabilizers. For it, I needed new cylinders, which worked flawlessly. If you have a universal dual steering stabilizer, you can pretty much use it on any vehicle.
We mounted it on a 3500 duelly 4x4 truck.
Yes, we installed it on a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 as a steering stabilizer.
The only thing I can tell you is that it will fit a 1994 Ram 2500 4x4 according to both Amazon and Pro Comp. There's no mention of a specific axle in either.

I couldn't tell if this made a difference in the way my blazer drove compared to the worn-out factory one, but I'm running 35-inch tires, so that could be the problem. It is well-fitting and attractive. It doesn't affect the way the truck drives; I replaced it to help with bump steering, but it turned out that the aftermarket steering arm was the real issue.
It's not that I'm dissatisfied with the product; it has exceeded all of my expectations. Even though the rubber was painted, it chipped off right out of the box, it appears to be quite durable. The fitting was the only problem I had. I bought one that was supposed to fit a 1997 RAM 2500, and it does in terms of size, but the one bolt was much too large for my truck. Boring out the hole to fit the new bolt was a simple fix for me, but it would have been preferable if it was a direct fit.
I bought it for my 1985 Toyota Land Cruiser because the system said it would fit perfectly. This is NOT an exact match. One of the mounting bolts works in the standard mounting location on the frame, but the other bolt, which is double-headed, does not. The side intended for use on the TRE mount will not fit. The threaded section that is supposed to pass through the TRE is not only the wrong length of thread, but it is also the incorrect mount size. Many products claim to be for FJ60s, but they are considered a "Universal Fit" item for FJ40 and FJ60 model Land Cruisers, including the NON-FJ60 model Land Cruisers. The FJ40 is now available with POWER STEERING. This, I believe, is the source of the strange mounting bolt. br>br>In reality, it only took an extra 30 minutes to go to the local hardware store, get the proper sized Grade 8 hardware, and bolt and install it.
It was a simple installation and a direct replacement for the original stabilizer. It appears to be a heavy-duty product at a reasonable price.
It was better than I had anticipated. It's unquestionably superior to the original. I wasn't expecting it to be painted ready, but that was perfect because I didn't want it to be white.
Junk. I had to go to the hardware store to get replacement parts because the ones that came with it were defective. The shock had also stopped working because the seal had broken in the first week and was no longer functional.
It's already covered in rust pits after two months on the highway.
I'm the proud owner of a 1998 Dodge Ram 4x4 1500. It was supposed to be a direct replacement for the Pro Comp model number I used (224000), but it wasn't! The hardware package that came with the stabilizer was completely useless. It was, however, a simple fix. I burned the old stabilizer's metal bushings, sanded them down (they were a little too big around to fit in the new rubber bushings), and used them in the new stabilizer. as a result of which I was able to reuse the old bolts The Pro Comp S is a high-end computer. It helped me with my steering issues and now it's working perfectly.
