If you're replacing your shocks, this is the way to go. You're not going to wear the metal sleeves that they give you. Your shocks should come with new metal sleeves that are identical to the ones that come with new shocks (at least according to me). As a result, they'll only be used as filler. There's no need to be concerned. Another thing to consider is that those same metal sleeves may need to be trimmed a little to fit over the eye mount. About an eighth of an inch. I ground a small amount off one end of the sleeve with a bench grinder. It's not too difficult. You won't be able to get these mounts over the shock eyes unless you trim them down a little. Apart from that. br>br> Amazon has a great deal on this item. If you need to make eye shocks work where stem mounts normally go, you can't go wrong with these. Also, keep in mind that these are approximately 2" in length. As a result, they'll increase the length and travel of your shock by two inches.
Front shocks from a 1977 Ford F-250 4x4. The problem of double pin shocks being unavailable was resolved. The mounting hardware is of good quality and the construction is heavy.
