It is compatible with the B series of vtec engines.

Is this compatible with an F22a4 manifold?

I'm not sure; I'd have to look at the intake manifold to be sure. It's important to know the year the F22 was decommissioned. The manifold's throat must be large enough to accommodate the larger throttle plate.

Fits a 97 Civic but not a 98 Civic

Although this part appears to be of good quality, it will not fit a 1997 Honda Civic with a 1. The only way to make it fit is to mount it sideways, which requires a lot of work and will quickly become prohibitively expensive.

TPS sensor does not fit shaft properly, and throttle valve is out of spec, making calibration from zero impossible

After removing the stock bolts from the intake manifold, I installed the throttle body on the d16y8. Butterfly did not get stuck in the throttle body like some of the cheaper TBs I've seen. This is a fantastic investment!.

The throttle plate is stuck between 1500 and 2000 RPM. 2000 revolutions per minute. Every now and then, I have to tap the throttle. When idling in low gear, the exhaust also pops. Has resulted in the emergence of a novel concept. I've driven about 6,000 miles since the installation. Great for a quick fix at a low price, but if you're concerned about these issues, buy DENSO.

This is an excellent match! On my car, I had one exactly like this one, but the throttle plate screw threads had been messed up by the previous owner

This was purchased to replace the previous one. All hardware is included for a direct bolt-on installation. All you have to do is swap out your tps and map sensor. Just remember to do an idle relearn and adjust your tps after messing with the TB. I am completely enamored with it!.
