I'm not sure it's applicable to everyone. I believe the big block has different bolt spacing. First, look through the edelbrock catalog on the internet.

The bottom bracket fits snugly against your valve cover when you flip it over. This is the only way it will work because it is a straighter shot. . . I was able to make it work, but not exactly how I had envisioned. It had to be tweaked. $55 was a waste of money. It wouldn't work if you put it on an edelbrock intake with an edelbrock carburetor! br>br>And, to top it off, your edelbrock air cleaner will hit it right after you've spent so much time modifying this bracket and adjusting your cables. as a last, unanticipated slap in the face from edelbrock.
The bracket is only useful as a starting point for creating your own. With an Edelbrock intake, the upper bracket must be modified to shift 1" left to line up with a Holley or Edelbrock carburetor. When using a Vortec head, the lower bracket must be modified to move 1" back in order to achieve proper TV cable adjustment. A 1/2 to 3/4 spacer on the bottom is required to remove the valve cover without removing the bracket.
There was some fabrication involved, and the cables and valve cover clearance weren't exactly the same.
It's simple to set up and a good investment.
It does not work in any way. There's no way to make it work because it doesn't align properly. Junk.
Do yourself a favor and skip this part; it doesn't work and the geometry is incorrect. The throttle cable is behind the carburetor when mounted on your intake like this. This product has duped several others, including myself (see this thread):.
