When using Edelbrock Performer Series carburetors, throttle level adapters reposition the factory throttle cable.

I don't have any instructions, and I'm having a hard time finding anything online that explains how to mount this. Could someone please explain how to mount this?

Because the original carburetor is narrower than the square bore Edelbrock that is currently installed, the throttle linkage and transmission kickdown rod must be moved outwards towards the fender from where they are currently mounted in order for the linkages to line up. The original connection has been unbolted. The adapter is bolted in place, and the original linkage bracket is bolted to the 1495 bracket to precisely align the linkage.

I didn't expect it to be as adaptable as I had hoped

I like Edelbrock, and my carburetor is working well for me. This device, however, was not intended for my 1986 Ford 460. After sawing and grinding this plate and my original bracket, I was able to use them together. It ain't pretty, but it'll do for the time being. The plate has a nice presentation. I'm giving it two stars because it's well-built and should work for other Ford applications.

We had to return a new carburetor that we had purchased. So this was also unnecessary.

THIS PART WAS USEFUL, BUT IT HAD TO BE REDRILLED IN ORDER FOR THE THROTTLE CABLEPLATE/CRUISE SERVO PLATE TO FIT IN THE RIGHT PLACE. I'M STILL THANKFUL I HAD IT.
