Airaid 310-508 PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer

7l 2006. Despite the fact that this is designed for a Jeep Liberty, the throttle body is identical to that of a Dodge Dakota V6 3. 7l 2006. This was just installed in my Dakota and it works and looks great. Right away, I can feel the HP on the high way. I'm hoping it will assist you with MPG. However, after doing some research, I discovered that jeeps and Dakotas both used the same throttle body. Jeep spacers are available. As far as I'm aware, I have an Airaid TB spacer in my truck. The truck flew down the street thanks to a combination of these upgrades and a custom throttle body (bigger intake custom milled). There will be no pause or hesitation. When you press the peddle, you'll be pushed back into your seat. I'm grateful that I replaced the brakes and master cylinder. Only the chip remains to be installed, but I'm satisfied with this setup. It's just too much fun to think about MPG at the moment.

The actual review will be posted later. I just finished installing it on my 2006 Jeep Liberty v6. It was extremely simple to set up. It only took 20 seconds for me to complete the task. At first, there were no significant power gains, but I was more concerned with improving mileage than with increasing power. It does appear to have a little more midrange power than it did previously. After a few tanks of gas, I'll do a follow-up review.

However, if you buy this for a WK grand cherokee (not sure about other jeeps), you'll have to go to a store to find hardware long enough to install it, which was a pain because the cables were already mounted. To find bolts that would fit, I had to take a different vehicle to several stores. Since the installation, I've noticed a very minor difference.

With the exception of one minor detail, it worked perfectly on my Dakota. Once the spacer was installed, the three screws that replaced the throttle body screws were too short to reach the threads on my throttle body. To complete the project, I needed to purchase three 60 mm screws from a local hardware store. They were fortunate to have them; otherwise, everything would have been for naught. It now works perfectly, sounds fantastic, and the pedal has a little more power to it.
