Chrysler Aspen 5 from 2008. Hemi v8 with seven cylinders I like how it makes a whistle sound as you accelerate and shift gears. People approach my vehicle and inquire about the product I'm promoting. Except for spacer k, which is new, everything is in stock. Everything else is the hemi baby, except for n intKe and flowmasters.
This was purchased for my 2003 Dodge Ram 1500, model number 5. 7 as well as a K I'm getting a lot more throttle response with the new air intake. A faint whistle can also be heard. Others have claimed that it is obnoxious, but it is not so. I like it, and I'm hoping for better mpg with the air intake, as the manufacturer claims. In addition, the provided hard ware is ideal.
They are unlikely to have heard one before. For the past few weeks, it's been on my truck. I'll take it off the next time I get a chance. However, installation was a breeze. The directions were clear and concise. I couldn't tell if the power/response was any different.
There's a lot more power in the low and mid ranges. What is this whistling noise that everyone is complaining about? I don't hear it, but that could be because my 2005 hemi Power Wagon has a Magnaflow exhaust system and mud terrain 35s. If you need a little more power, it's worth the money and 30 minutes of installation time. I would strongly suggest it.
In Dad's Chevy, there has been no change at all.
So far, the test drive has gone well, with no throttle lag. I'll check the gas mileage and see if there's a difference when towing my trailer. There's a good chance there will be.
It fit, but all it did was reduce my gas mileage and performance.
